The program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and is based upon the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) and other evidence-based treatment recommendations.

Developed for students interested to learn how to recognize a life- threatening emergency, how to provide basic life support and what to do in case of an airway obstruction or choking. ASHI’s BLS, BLS for healthcare provider and professional rescuers has been approved for training for emergency medical services personnel and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technician

Designed to provide non-EMS responders including government, corporate, law enforcement, and corrections personnel with a level of training comparable to a professional Emergency Medical Responder. This 48-hour course is consistent with national EMS curriculum requirements and education standards; however, it is not the intent of the ASHI Emergency Medical Response program to cross the EMS scope of practice threshold.

The ASHI Emergency Oxygen program focuses on administering emergency oxygen to breathing and non- breathing persons, emergency oxygen delivery systems, and integrating pulse oximetry.

Designed to focus on supervising, caring for, and keeping children and infants safe in babysitting settings. The program provides fundamental information in the business of babysitting, proper supervision, basic caregiving skills, and responding properly to ill or injured children or infants.
